The terrain at Complex Festival is mostly flat and there are steel plates on the surface to get to all the stages. However, not all the terrain is paved, so there are grassy areas to consider. In general these are all flat surfaces with low-cut grass. In addition, there is an Easy Access Unit toilet on site, as well as widened entrance.

Please note that inspections can be carried out at the entrance to the festival or on the site itself, including the confiscation of unauthorized items. Confiscated items will not be taken into custody. Inspection can be done by means of visitation (checking bags) or search (light touch of clothing, pockets and possibly shoes). If one or more of these checks are refused, the visitor will not be granted access.

Yes, this is allowed, but please make sure that you are in the possession of a medical passport or doctor's statement and that you’re able to show this at the entrance. Next to this, it’s also important that it’s shown clearly which medication you are carrying. Report the fact that you’re carrying medication during the visitation.

The use of illegal drugs is harmful and can have negative consequences for you, your immediate environment, our organization as well as the relevant security authorities. We have a zero tolerance policy therefor it is strictly prohibited to possess or sell any soft and hard drugs at our festival. Any violation of this can lead to criminal prosecution and denial of access to the festival.

Please take care of your ears! Wearing earplugs at festivals is wise to protect your hearing from prolonged exposure to loud music. Earplugs with a special music filter can be bought at our Merchandise stand. With these earplugs, you can still hear the music perfectly; conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent hearing damage.

SUSTAINABILITY

We want to keep our festival as clean and sustainable as possible. There's a circulair system on all our eco-cups and bottles we give out at the bars, turn them in so they can be recycled into eco-cups / bottles again. This way we can keep our plastic waste to a minimum!

How does it work?

  1. You receive a free 'green' token at the entrance. This coin has no value but guarantees you a free eco-cup/bottle at the bar.
  2. Hand in your 'green' token at the bar and receive your eco-cup/bottle. You pay your drink with the regular tokens.
  3. Did you finish your drink? Exchange your eco-cup/bottle at the bar for a new drink or a 'green' token.
  4. Lost your eco-cup/bottle? Then you pay 0.5 regular token extra on top of the drink price.
  5. All the collected plastic will be recycled after the festival and converted back into eco-cups/bottles next year. So don't forget to turn in your last cup!

Eco-cups/bottles that have been lying on the floor can not be recycled unfortunately.

Fun fact: the 'green' token that you receive at the entrance is made from 100% recycled fishing nets, this way we keep our festival clean and sustainable, but we also help fight the maritime pollution! By using this token we are able to reduce the amount of waste and Co2 emissions in seas and oceans and we make sure valuable raw materials won't get lost.

  • We'll be able to keep track of the full recycling process of our cups after this festival, this way we know exactly when the old cups are being turned into new cups. We can even store all the recycled cups so they are ready to be used at our next edition next year!
